www.hrc.org The Human Rights Campaign is the nation's largest gay and lesbian civil rights group.
www.poetsagainstthewar.org The national Poets Against the War group posts thousands of poems and information regarding poet-activism.
www.dcpaw.org This is the site of our local D.C. Poets Against the War group. This group has published an anthology and bursts with active and committed artists.
www.readoutofline.com The journal "Out of Line" includes beautiful writings on peace and social justice topics.
www.busboysandpoets.com A new coffeehouse, bookstore, gathering place in Washington, D.C. for many local poets, artists and activists.

www.givalpress.com Gival Press, in Arlington, Virginia, is run by Robert Giron a poet and translator. Their work is excellent.
www.unblind.com This is the creative and provocative site of the journal "Word is Bond." It was down for a while but now is up and running. This site contains material for teachers and activists. Excellent.
